Do you ever look at those people who seem to have their life together, with everything figured out, and wonder what they know that you don’t?

They never seem to struggle, everything comes easily to them and they’re successful, happy, and confident.

It’s like these people know a secret that no one else knows.

Is it just that they’re lucky and have an easy life?


You already know that you need to manage your stress, create a positive, growth-focused mindset, and prioritize your health and wellbeing, but there’s more to it than just wanting to do these things.

Otherwise, you’d already be living your dream life as the empowered person you were always mean to become.

Each of these people who are living a healthy, simple, balanced and low-stress have all cracked the code.

They’ve all reached the last stage of personal development by creating a strong connection with their true selves – their inner Objective Observer. They know who they are, what they stand for, all while loving and accepting themselves exactly as they are, imperfections and all.

Deep down there’s a big part of you that want’s this, too. Not because you want to become this deep zen master who sells off all their worldly possessions and goes to live in a monastery. 

You want to feel confident in yourself again.

You want to make changes in your life and actually have them stick (without requiring tons of willpower).

You want to never have to worry about money again.

You want to be back in control of your life.

But you feel stuck.

Maybe you’ve tried more times than you can count to change your habits and your life, but you always end up right back where you started.

I totally get it.

I used to be where you are.

From the outside, it looked like I was living the dream! I was working full time as a Registered Nurse in a pediatric hospital and was advancing in my career. I was volunteering by playing piano for local children’s choirs both in schools and the community. I had a close group of friends, an active social life, and was able to travel often.

But the truth is I was miserable.

That’s when I started on a personal and professional development journey that led to the creation of the Ultimate Life Survival Guide framework and the clear step-by-step road-map that I’m going to share with you today.

Here I’m going to outline the 5 stages that you will progress through on your journey to living your dream life as the unstoppable version of you that you were always meant to become. These 5 stages were created based on my decade of experience helping people regain control over their lives, as well as the science of the Transtheoretical Model of Change, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

Stage 1 – Default Survival Mode

As the name suggests, this is where we all start. This is our default mode of operation and most of us have been living in this stage for all of our lives.

At this beginning stage, we are living our life 95% of the time based on our habits and interpreting the world through our pre-programmed mental filters.

Have you heard about inherited trauma? 

This is where that shows up. 

The patterns, thought habits and emotional reactions that we have are often passed down through generation to generation. We build our mental filters and create our habits based on what we were shown and taught during our formative years in childhood.

Our parents did the best job they knew how to do based on what they were taught, their own mental filters, and their habits.

When we’re in Default Survival Mode we are doing our best, but it seems that life is happening to us and we don’t have any control at all. Anytime we get a little win, life comes along and hits us with another setback. 

We are living from our circumstances, rather than from a place of empowered, conscious intention.

When we start to realize that there has to be more to life than this – that’s when we move on into the next stage which is when we become the Seeker.

Stage 2 – The Seeker

This is likely where you are, my friend.

Just like the name suggests, the main identifying factor of this stage is that you’re seeking out information to help you improve your life.

According to the Transtheoretical Model of Change, this is the Contemplation Phase. You’re ready to start making changes, but you want to explore your options to learn what will work best for you.

You’re not completely ready to jump into a strict keto-diet, or join a gym or sign up for a mindset course. But you’re ready to start looking to find some ideas.

You know that you need to fix your relationship with your inner critic and can identify some negative self-talk patterns that aren’t serving you anymore.

You’re hearing ideas on how your thoughts create your life, but you’re not really sure what that actually means (or if that’s just some new-age, woo-woo, law of attraction, “The Secret” B.S.)

The main thing is that you want to change some things about your life, but you don’t know how the heck you’re going to find the time or energy to make it happen.

I go into more ideas in that free downloadable roadmap, but really the best thing you can do here is to start committing to small, daily changes like the daily intentions I share on my Instagram and Facebook pages.

The next best thing you can do is start to surround yourself with a group of people who get you, get where you’re coming from, and are also on the same journey of self-improvement as you are.

Think of it this way. If you were trying to lose weight and eat fewer snacks and treats, but everyone around you keeps buying those foods and eating them in front of you – well, it’s going to be really hard to resist and keep your new desired habits.

But if you’re spending time with people who are trying to create the same mindset shifts and habits as you are, you’ll be able to build off each other’s motivation!

#3 – The Explorer

You’ll know you’re ready to move beyond being a Seeker and into the Explorer stage when you’re ready to commit to taking the time you’ll need to start shifting your habits and transforming your life.

You fully understand what accepting radical responsibility for your life means, you accept where you’re at right now as your starting point and are committed to moving forward from here.

Here’s where you’re ready to start creating that space you need between yourself and your inner critic so that when your inner critic speaks up you’re able to start to see where you need to disagree.

The Transtheoretical Model of change labels this stage as the preparation stage because here you’re laying all the groundwork for the more intense mindset shifts that will be coming.

Here’s where you’re preparing yourself and your life for when it’s your time to rise above everything that’s holding you back.

You can’t jump from being a Seeker to being a Pathfinder, which is the next step. You absolutely have to build your foundation first.

#4 – The Pathfinder

When you’re ready, as the Pathfinder you’ll be walking the healing path of forgiving and releasing yourself from your past, taking over for your Inner Critic, and reprogramming your mindset, while also creating the new habits and emotional patterns to align with who you wish to become.

Because when you’re living life as this ideal, up-levelled version of you, all of your desired habits and lifestyle changes will be much easier to create and keep.

There are many different options that you can take when you’re at the Pathfinder stage, one of which is my Mindset Reboot Program that opens only a few times per year.

Absolutely, you could figure this all out yourself with books and the internet, but that’s the long way to go about it. 

Trust me, I know, it took me nearly 10 years to figure it out.

But within a few weeks, everyone who goes through my Mindset Reboot Program notices that their Inner Critic has gone quiet, that their life is completely different, and that their uncontrolled emotional reactions that used to be so strong before, now happen as if they were watching a movie while they can still stay in control and calmly interact with the person who usually triggers them.

That’s a conversation for another time, though.

#5 – The Sage

And finally, when you’re at the end of your journey you’ll realize that really this is just the beginning.

All Sage’s feel completely, 100% in control of their lives. You’ll know what you want, who you are, and what you stand for. 

You’re fully self-aware and can recognize when you’re being triggered and remove yourself from your pre-programmed emotional reaction.

You’ll be able to confidently set goals, knowing in your heart of hearts that your success is inevitable, it’s only a matter of time.

No matter where you are, you know that there are people in your life that will try and pull you back to your old habits, and so you choose to surround yourself with people who you can really connect to and can easily set boundaries so that you never feel used, resentful, or taken advantage of again.

You know how to put yourself first in such a way that still allows you to be there for the important people in your life.

Instead of beating you down, your Inner Critic now approaches you gently with things for you to consider, and you, as the CEO of your life can choose to agree or disagree with what they’re saying.
