Hi, I'm Avery!

I show people who have lost their identity because of significant life challenges learn who they are again and connect to their life purpose.

I believe that life is full of beautiful possibilities, yet sadly many people are missing out on the joy and wonder that each day has to offer.

Because they’re always prioritizing others before themselves, suffering from chronic stress and have experienced a series of challenging life events, many people feel defeated and don’t know who they are anymore.

It’s my mission to help people who have been knocked down by life one too many times, learn how to redefine who they are so they can confidently go after anything they want.
Over my decade-long career as a Registered Nurse I’ve seen the impact that stress and the burden of life has on people’s health and wellbeing. I worked in the Intensive Care Unit for many years and I could see a direct correlation between stress, lifestyle and environmental factors, and the illnesses and diseases that brought people into the hospital.
I knew that if I really wanted to make a difference, I had to address this LONG BEFORE people ever ended up in the hospital.
This sparked a journey of professional and personal development that led to certifications in Neuro-linguistic Programming, Meditation, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and advanced physiological knowledge of the impact of stress on the body and mind.
I always joke that there was an invisible neon “open” sign above my nursing station because my colleagues would often come to me to seek advice, to receive coaching and perspective on their struggles, or to talk with someone they knew would listen with compassion and without judgement.
I had an opportunity to apply and hone my skills while working in a public health promotion clinic. Here I worked with people one-on-one as well as led several workshop series related to mindset work, transformational psychology, bone health, diabetes, stress management, emotional eating, and mental health recovery.
I transitioned my practice to my online business and have been providing one-on-one and small group coaching every since.

Let's get extra real for a second here...

There is a LOT of information and MISinformation online about how to change your lifestyle, eat better, and get more out of your life.
It can be hard to know what will actually work for you, rather than just be more snake oil that sounds good – but doesn’t deliver.
That is why I continue to base my practice on peer reviewed evidence and research with strong methodology because, to be honest, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Your time is precious, my time is precious, so if it hasn't been proven to work - then what's the point?

That's why I've spent years developing a framework that delivers consistent results - as fast as possible.

The framework I use for the Ultimate Life Survival Guide is based on all of the research, the training, the knowledge and the professional experience I bring to the table. This method has been proven time, and time again to be effective and efficient at getting you from where you are right now, to where you want to be.
